Can blood cancer be cured?

Can blood cancer be cured?
Yes and No. I am going through leukemia as well. Most leukemias and lymphomos are treated next to high dose chemos, and consequently further on with radiation and bone marrow or stem cell transplant. You are considered 'cured' if you remain contained by remission for atleast 3-5 years (most sources vary the amt of time to be cured, but it is surrounded by that range).
The most promising chances for cure within adults, as well as children, is cord blood stem cell transplant. However, it is a awfully tough treatment, the chemo and rad is high dose and thoroughly difficult. The treatment completly kills the immune system, so the merciful as no way to disagree infection until the transplant grafts and hot blood cells form.
This treatment isnt available for some individuals because they cannot tolerate the harsh treatment, and others die from complications of the treatment and infections. But if you can get it through the transplant, you have a appropriate chance that you are cured.
no but might be controlled
It cannot be cured approaching ^^ said. but I am living proof so far that it can be controlled for a time. I have cancer of the bone marrow and plasma cell Leukemia. I merely finished months of chemo and then a bone marrow transplant. It is immediately in remission, for how long, solitary God knows. I be a late stage 3 (which is NOT accurate at all) but here I am almost a yr later :0)
I hope this help you.
no but now it can br controled near chemo threapy.
