Can doxycycline be used to treat Strp throat?

Can doxycycline be used to treat Strp throat?
You probably can, but it's not the best line of defense. It'd be similar to blasting a mosquito with a rocket launcher.
Usually the first splash of defense against strep is plain ol' Penicillan, second line is Zithromax.
Yes. It's an antibiotic, but not commonly prescribed for strep throat, though.
