My daughter has a problem of a combination hiccup, belch, burp after consumption...sometimes even when she hasn't eaten for a few hours. It is fundamentally painful for her and doesn't seem to be to be triggered by any particular foods or number of foods. We can just be walking along and it starts. Sometimes it is extremely loud! We haven't talk to the doctor yet, but it is becoming more frequent the elder she gets. She is 14. Does anyone know what cause this? How to stop it?Combination hiccup, belch, burp continually and agonizingly?
It sounds like it might be gastroesophegeal reflux disease. There is and over production of bitter in the stomach, the belching/hiccup are the gas man released, the burning sensation is the acid traveling up the throat. See a doctor, they may prescribe meds, if you want try and antacid. i use mylanta
put duct cassette on her mouth so it wont be so loud
That actually sounds close to something that I have. It's usually after intake something and it feels approaching a burp, but it comes out like a messed up hiccup. I honestly dont know what it is. Ive have it for over a year now. I inevitability to ask my doctor about it. but please permit me know if you find anything. By the way, how did she win it?
