Can I swim when I own poison ivy?

I have poison ivy and tonight I'm going to the pond. Can I swim?
Thanks. Can I swim when I own poison ivy?
Sure, go ahead as long as it's not too severe(chances are, though, if it be too severe for swimming, you wouldn't feel up to going to the water anyway.) I have swum next to poison ivy tons of times, and I find it actually help make it get the impression better. As long as there are no wide, open sores or humongous blisters, consequently go for it.
You should be risk-free. You should be cautious in the order of swimming in lake if you have significant nontact skin, as germs present in tarn water can enter your system this approach. You should be cautious if you enjoy puncture wounds, lacerations, hulking abrasions, ample blisters that are liable to burst... you get the concept. And, although you didn't ask, the fluid that poison ivy blisters emit when they burst is NOT contagious.
