^You should carry your syringe and insulin beside, just variety sure you have a prescription for the syringe and insulin and a dispatch from your doctor. Do not put your medication in your suitcase, what happen if you need it and worse what happen if they lose your luggage.

I carried a special cooler pack that holds insulin and syringes as well as my glucometer and adjectives the stuff that goes near it. Also got my doctor to write a make a note of on a prescription pad that stated I be a diabetic and insulin dependent. That is all it took. Good luck and appropriate traveling.

You can carry a syringe beside your insulin, if you are talking more or less boarding a plane you should get a document from your GP to say you are diabetic and will be carrying syringes for insulin use (UK) I use an insulin pen and hold taken them on planes with me next to no checks whatsoever !
