Could anyone supply me with informaton to find out if industrial use newspaper shredders around me could be aggravating hay fever and asthma. Every morning I own symptoms of congestion and wheezing, usually sneezing. Is this part of hay hallucination? Have been using shredder plentifully, just notice lots of dust escapes from it. Yes, an industrial shredder will produce a large amount of dust. That is why they are installed with a dust collection system. We also sprayed our tabloid with river to reduce the dust created.
People using shredders alot should own PPE (Personal protective equipment) including ear protection, eye protection and a mask. OSHA may be a source to determine best blanket to use.
