Does California perform routine CF infant screening upon birth and if so, since when own they done it? I am trying to find out if my son (born 7/21/06) would have have this test done along next to all the other infant screenings (i.e. PKU, etc) when he be born. Of course, I could ask his pediatrician but, thought maybe someone here could answer this earlier I see the doctor in a month.Cystic Fibrosis Infant Screening?
Not nonetheless. It is required but not yet implented. Check the website.
BTW, New York does do CF screening.
I don't know nearly California, but I'm pretty sure New York doesn't do routine CF screenings.
